Image Request Form

This page is intended to assist us in accommodating requests for commercial use (for profit) of Operation Migration’s (OM) copyrighted still and video images.

In addition to the images displayed in the Photo Journals on this website, OM has thousands of still images and extensive video footage in its Image Library.

FEES
Revenue generated from Rights of Reproduction helps to fund Operation Migration's work.

Fees for still photos range between US $75 to $500 dependent on the image(s) selected, the intended use, and length of use. Fees for video footage will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

In instances where Rights of Reproduction fees are waived, a US $50 administration fee is charged to offset staff time consumed in fulfilling the request. In the case of the administration fee, exceptions may be made under special circumstances.

TERMS IN OM’S STANDARD RIGHTS OF REPRODUCTION AGREEMENT

The user will be required to acknowledge and signify their acceptance of the following in a Right of Reproduction Agreement:

  1. That Operation Migration is the sole holder of all copyrights for the supplied image(s);
  2. That the image(s) provided shall only be used for the intended use stated in the Agreement;
  3. That unless otherwise provided for in the Agreement, all rights of reproduction are granted for a one time use only;
  4. That the Right of Reproduction shall expire on the date indicated in the Agreement;
  5. That the User shall not include the provided image(s) in any stock photo libraries, re-sell, or reproduce the image(s) in any format at any time;
  6. That the image(s) may not be misrepresented, modified, or manipulated so as to falsify, or inappropriately portray the information it represents.
  7. That the user assumes responsibility for all claims concerning copyright violation, invasion of privacy or publicity, slander, or libel resulting from the use of the image(s).
  8. That a copy of the product in which the image(s) were used nust be provided to Operation Migration at no cost. If the use is a webpage, the URL must be provided in the Agreement.
  9. Proper credit, that is, "© operationmigration.org" shall be displayed adjacent to, or superimposed over the image(s) used and be in a legible typeface and size.
